Gurney & White

Gurney and White are a well established retailer selling electrical and plumbing materials to the trade and public for 30 years. They offer a large range of products and needed a platform to sell to a wider audience. So work was started on creating a new online store for them.

When meeting with the client however, it was noticed that and off the shelf package would not suit Gurney and White's needs for the way their business worked. Because of this it was decided that a custom shop would be built from the ground up.

The site originally launched in 2004 and was soon seeing orders coming in from all over the UK. Under going a redesign in October/November 2006 the site continued to grow and improve with added SEO helping boost sales. In recent years, the site has also been branching out to European market and continues to see growth.

Along with the commission of the site and maintenance, GWT Media also manage the company's internal network infrastructure and servers.
