• Office Compatibility Pack - Allows pre 2007 versions of MS office to open 2007 file types (.docx, .xlsx, etc)
• OpenOffice - Open Source Office package, freely available for download

• JBMail - Lightweight and portable email client
• Thunderbird - Open source email client freely available for download

• Mozilla Firefox - Open source browser from the Mozilla Foundation
• Google Chrome - Free browser from Google
