iPhone OS4 and iAds Opt-out

As many of you with shiny iDevices will know the latest and greatest OS4 for iPhone and iPod touch was released on the 21st, to the delight of those users who have been crying out for multitasking among other things.

One of the other enhancements that was included was the introduction of iAds, a targeted ad framework that developers can include within their Apps. The service uses your likes and dislikes to provide advertising tailored to them.

For any of you privacy concious out there, Apple have kindly provided an opt out for those who do not want to be targeted by content provided by iAds. If you want to opt out, visit the following URL on your OS4 enabled device: https://oo.apple.com
